Fostering Creativity

Creativity is a way of expression.  Creativity is using imagination and inventiveness to produce artistic work.  There are many ways of expressing where one could direct their imaginative ideas.  In the past, we used to express our creativity towards music, writing,  art.  Over the years creativity has evolved and shifted towards new ways of expression.  I think that today's media platforms such as SoundCloud, Instagram, Youtube, Vine, Facebook are used to promote people who share their creative talents with the world.  If we look at today's mainstream celebrities of our generation who became famous either through posting funny skits or making music on Soundcloud.  You can always see that their creativity is used for social media marketing. For example, it is stated that in  (“The Most Effective Role of Social Media in Creativity – According to Brands, Agencies and Publishers”) that genuine creativity will always be the driving force for succ...

Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

Hello Fellow readers, I have been conducting research and observing where society is going with newly made innovative technologies.  The big talk of the town nowadays is Augmented Reality based technologies that will have unlimited possibilities in a virtual perspective.  There are many different ways where virtual worlds are used today.  The most common ones that I have experience using is virtual development environments for coding purposes, Virtual campus tours back when I add first started applying for colleges and for gaming online. Blog about Twitter

This is a blog for my college students out there. Whether your an undergraduate or a graduate, you all have experience using some discussion board platform depending on what tool is offered by your academic institution.  For example, in my past four years at undergrad, I have been using cuny's blackboard discussion board where professors encourage us to debate and share ideas on the specific class subject. You could compare twitter to blackboard but twitter's discussion is broader where a discussion could be taken any desired directions and any opinion is ultimately shared because everyone has freedom of expression. Creativity could be expressed on twitter rather than on blackboard discussions we stay within the subject limit.

Social networking sites

I decided to log on to the social network sites which I currently have access to.  Although I could say that they are similar because they are created to connect people together and to also view content and informative news. I will point out that Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin are generally similar in terms of usability but differ by their interface. Instagram is completely different from the other 3 was its usability is to share content and creativity. Overall, I would say that there may be differences in how each platform is used but they all share the same purpose.

Blog Social Networking

Over the years the use of social media has grown exponentially, it has not only become popular among's users of these platforms but it has also become a profitable tool used by businesses, politicians, and corporate organizations.  These technologies have been used for good and useful intentions and also malicious intent.  There have been many downsides to where social media has caused many controversies such as privacy loss and the spread of fake news. Stated in an article " that today's technology is a given and that it be used in many new ways ", this statement from Mr.Andreesen about how politicians recognize how powerful the web is and how they can use it to their advantage to raise their number of supporters when they are in a political case and also fundraising for their campaign.  I believe that it doesn't only benefit politicians it also helps the people know who they are supporting and voting for and also get more information.  I think that many politi...
